Public Hearing Notice
October 22, 2007
The Committee on Law and Government of the Council of the City of Philadelphia
will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at 2:00 PM, in Room 400,
City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
070172 An Ordinance amending Title 20 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled
"Officers and Employees," by adding a new Chapter entitled "Lobbying," under
certain terms and conditions.
070705 An Ordinance amending Chapter 20-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled
"Standards of Conduct and Ethics," by adding anti-nepotism provisions
prohibiting City officers and employees, including all elected City Officers,
from taking or recommending certain personnel actions affecting family members,
under certain terms and conditions.
070795 An Ordinance amending Chapter 20-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled
"Standards of Conduct and Ethics," by adding provisions restricting City
officers and employees from having certain kinds of outside employment or
business interests, under certain terms and conditions, and renumbering.
070828 An Ordinance amending Chapter 20-600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled
"Standards of Conduct and Ethics," by amending provisions prohibiting City
officers and employees from soliciting or accepting gifts from certain sources,
under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Law and
Government, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken
on the above listed items.
Copies of the foregoing items are available in the Office of the Chief Clerk of
the Council, Room 402, City Hall.
