Public Hearing Notice
June 5, 2008
The Committee on Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs of the Council of the
City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at
1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:
080427 An Ordinance amending Chapter 15-200 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled
"Fairmount Park," by removing 5100 Pennypack Street from the areas under the
care and jurisdiction of the Fairmount Park Commission, under certain terms and
conditions.
080540 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property and the
Executive Director of Fairmount Park to enter into an air rights license
agreement with Main Street Partners, LP allowing Main Street Properties, LP to
construct a deck over a certain portion of the Manayunk Canal Towpath at 2
Rector Street under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Parks,
Recreation and Cultural Affairs, open to the public, will be held to consider
the action to be taken on the above listed items.
Copies of the foregoing items are available in the Office of the Chief Clerk of
the Council, Room 402, City Hall.
