City Council Room 402 City Hall Philadelphia, PA 19107 The following are the titles of Bills introduced in City Council on June 12, 2008 Bill No. 080572: An Ordinance amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled Business Privilege Taxes, by requiring all persons who file a business privilege tax return to include as part of such return a disclosure form summarizing certain information included on the return, which disclosure forms shall be public information, under certain terms and conditions. Bill No. 080573: An Ordinance amending Chapter 19-2600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled Business Privilege Taxes, by expanding the program under which a credit against business privilege taxes is given to certain businesses that contribute monies to community development corporations undertaking economic development activities within the City of Philadelphia; all under certain terms and conditions. Bill No. 080574: An Ordinance amending Section 9-212 of The Philadelphia Code by prohibiting newsstands on both sides of 5th Street between Ludlow and Market Streets. Bill No 080575: An Ordinance amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled Zoning and Planning, by adding a new definition for Mechanical Access Parking Garage, and adding it as a permitted use in certain residential, commercial and industrial districts, under certain terms and conditions. Bill No. 080576: An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions, by prohibiting the sale of foie gras in the City of Philadelphia and providing penalties for violations, under certain terms and conditions.
