State Reps came through for Phila citizens

I'd like to publically thank Rep Marie Lederer for standing up on the House Floor yesterday and asking her colleagues to strip away the language which removed the rights of Philadelphians to appeal zoning decisions. Special thanks to State Representatives Cathy Mandarino, Babette Josephs, Curtis Thomas and Mark Cohen for working to defeat this amendment and to all of the state representatives who voted to remove it.
Our neighboring Delaware County Rep Greg Vitali was a wonderful ally and took an immediate interest in this issue, writing the amendment to remove the 629 clone from SB1100. House Leader Perzel did respond to his constituents and listened to concerns about this restrictive standing amendment. He also voted to remove the amendment and we're grateful for that and to the many community groups and citizens who contacted his office to educate the House Leader on this important issue.
