Repeal House Bill 1954!
House Bill 1954 called one of our most cherished rights into question: the right of any Philadelphia taxpayer to challenge a bad zoning decision in Court.
Thankfully, State Rep. Mark Cohen has introduced a repeal bill, House Bill 1698.
The right of community groups to challenge unjustified
zoning decisions was one of the most important defenses we had against reckless and irresponsible development.
Please let your representative know how important it is that citizen voices not be silenced by a law written by special interests and passed in
the middle of the night with no public debate or scrutiny.
Sincerely,
Ed Goppelt, webmaster@hallwatch.org
