The Pennsylvania Supreme Court dismissed three law suits today that
challenged the decisions of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to
award gaming licenses to the SugarHouse and Foxwoods Casinos. Suits
brought by NABR, Jethro Heiko and City Council were all dismissed
today for lack of standing.
At this point only Philadelphia licensing appeal left undecided by the Court is Riverwalk's. All appeals must be resolved before the Gaming Board can issue actual licenses to the casinos.
