Subject:   So you became a star!!!!

Dear Anne, Now that I have become enamored with the internet
and actually somewhat proficient in maneuvering my way around
it, I have been googaling old friends hoping to find out how
and where people are. I think you are the most interesting and
certainly the most influential. Congratulations to you and
Philadelphis who will profit from making you a judge! I hope
you are well and happy, you look it. I saw your picture at the
Phillies game and emailed it to Carol Lush with whom I have
contiued to see often over the years. We are actually related
now through numerous equine marriages. I'd love to hear from
you. TaTa Love, Kane

YOU KNOW YOU ARE WRONG! That's why you issued a gag order. I
hope your not elected because I will NEVER forget the name of
the judge who kept a child from his grandparents and only left
them with 1 hour a week visitation. I don't understand how
people like you sleep at night.

I wonder about the political decisions made by the court rather
than the decisions rendered for the benefit of all concerned.
For any judge to remove any child from family in favor of a
public system, which, cannot care for itself, leaves one to
believe we are not dealing with any King Solomon. We must now
tear down any facade of the Philadelphia Child Welfare System
by exposing all of its past and present flaws and all of the
politicals who support this under funded and under staffed
governmental organization.

How can one place a child with one foster family, have the
family go on vacation, and thus switch the child to another
temporary family, after removing the child from the child's
family because of (WHAT)?

This is what YOU just did!

How can one take a child from loving family grandparents and
throw the child into a system which is a last resort agency.

This is what YOU just did!

How many families in the city who's children are taken care by
not two, as in this case, but one grandparent have you put at
risk of having their grandchild stolen from them. Thousands, I
believe.

This is what YOU just did!

What percentage of minority children are raised by one
grandparent in the city of Philadelphia. There is now a
possibility of a race riot.

This is what YOU just did!

Health and Human Services does not have the funding to
administer the cases it currently has and now you want to take
on every Grandparent in the city of Philadelphia and the
Greater Delaware Valley. Either the Brasovankins get their
grandchild or no grandparent gets to raise their grandchild.

This is what YOU just did!

I believe that you may be old enough to join AARP. I don't
know. But as I send this to our membership, average age 72+
years, a nation of grandparents will now focus on this court,
the city of Philadelphia, and its Government.

This is what YOU just did!

You have just made me totally wonder about the wisdom of the
court. I have known Morris and Mildred Brasovankin for over
forty years. I have known them as good, honest, religious and
hard working people. They are a married couple who have
outlasted 90% of current area relationships. They are a team.
They are a true marriage and have the ability to provide a
good, decent, and loving home for their own blood.

This is what YOU just did!

What could be your reason for this stupid ERROR in judgement?
You don't like JEWS!
You discriminate by AGE!
You hate little children!
You want to go after every minority!
You think this is POLITICALLY CORRECT!
Or, you're just without common sense and like the power of the
court!

These are the only answers possible because any true concerns
about the grandparents could have been addressed by Auxiliary
terms and agreement to cover your ASS and for the protection of
the child.

I have worked with Arlen Specter when he was a wet behind the
ears DA.
I have worked with Mayor Edward G. Rendell on communities in
the city. One of many volunteers.
I am one of the writers of the nationally known "FRANKFORD
PLAN".
I am a past director of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.
ETC,etc,etc........

Please do send to the addresses above (TELL FRIENDS).

I am irate. Sorry if you take offense and I now apologize to
you and any of my friends and associates. I will take this
further to a better resolution.

Subject:

Your Honor, I saw this story (which I'm sure was portaited with
a bias) this morning and felt compelled to reach out to you.

I am myself the mom of a preemie (born at 2 pounds, now 4.5 yo)
with neurological and behavioral problems (I am, however, not a
drug addict). It IS taxing dealing with preemies. I urge you
to spend some time looking into that as there is a tragic
misconseption that preemies (for the most part) are simply
small and they catch up in time...this is not so.

Preemies are born underdeveloped in many ways, and that has a
profound effect on their future.

Although, I can truely understand how being smacked with
Steven's all too common preemie reality, along with the fact
that he is being raised by his elderly grandparents MUST be
what provoked the decision, there is something that needs to
also be considered here:

All caretakers of preemies need considerable support and aid.
The local Early Intervention program will best be able to speak
to Steven's needs as not only a developing child, but as a
preemie child. The march of dimes also has a good list of
additional resources as well.

My point here isn't so much that there is help out there, my
point is more that there is no going it alone when it comes to
preemies...elderly or not...it isn't an option. Raising
preemies takes extraordinary commitment, patience and
understanding.

I hope this note has some how helped in your decision.
