Maryland's real estate and assessment database
Maryland allows all of its citizens to search its property tax and land ownership database via the web. A good example of what government can do for its citizens when it wants to.

Pittsburgh's equivalent of Philadelphia's BRT. This is the agency which sets property tax assessments for Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh's Real Estate and Property Tax Database
